A FEW MORE NEW CARDS...

This one is my favorite so far. I love the colors, the flocked DP from a DCWV christmas stack, and even the 3d snowflake which was from my daughters bucket of foam stickers. I just dipped it in some Martha Stewart glue and it looks as good as some of the more expensive snowflakes out there.
This is a cute all occasion card. Dew Drops and the MS branch punch have been used here, along with the same paper pack.

This little girl reminds me of myself. It was a few years ago that I fell and broke both of my arms. I would have loved to get a card like this one~

Perfect for a winter birthday- dont you think?

MORE COPIC FUN!!!!

I have been having a great time coloring with my new markers!!! Each time I make a card I think I get a bit better. Thanks Bob, for the great gift (wink). I hope he still thinks it was a good idea to buy me these markers when there is no housework getting done, no dinner on the table, and 3 dogs that havent been fed. Im glad my daughter can heat up her own chicken nuggets. LOL.But anyhow, here are a couple of my newest attempts. let me know what you think~
The second and third have just been listed for sale on my etsy site, with more to follow. Stay warm, and have a great weekend.

MY FIRST CARDS MADE WITH MY COPICS~~

HERE ARE MY CARDS THAT I PROMISED YESTERDAY. I MUST SAY THAT I HAD ALOT OF FUN, AND AM GOING TO BE USING MY NEW MARKERS QUITE A BIT. IF YOU HAVENT TRIED THEM YET, YOU SHOULD. I WILL BE PRACTICING MY BLENDING TECNIQUES, SO EACH ATTEMPT SHOULD GET A BIT BETTER. THIS CARD TURNED OUT TO BE MY FAVORITE, ALTHOUGH AT FIRST I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE COLOR COMBINATION. I THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE NICE TO SEND TO FRIENDS I SAW IN NY OVER THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY. I USED GLITTER PENS ON ALL OF THEM ALSO, BUT THE SPARKLE JUST DOESNT SEEM TO SHOW UP IN PHOTOS. THIS COLOR SCHEME CAME FROM ME TRYING TO MATCH UP PAPERS WITH HER LITTLE JACKET. I LIKE ALL THE BLUES WORKING TOGETHER.

THIS GIRL IS SO CUTE IN HER LAVENDER OUTFIT. THE PINKS AND GREENS SEEM TO COMPLIMENT HER COLORS. I USED THE MARTHA STEWART DOILY LACE PUNCH ON THE BOTTOM PIECE OF GREEN, BUT IT DOES NOT SHOW UP AS I WOULD HAVE LIKED. BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD.
THANKS FOR TAKING A PEEK.....

MY NEW COPICS!!!!!

I received some copic markers for my birthday, and I have finally decided to use them. I could not wait to get them, but I'm the first to admit they intimidated me. there are so many beautiful cards and things made with them, how could I ever match up? But last nite I broke them out and boy did I have fun!! they are so much fun to use, and the color flows out so freely. I know I have alot to learn about them, but I will be practicing my little heart out. Here is a photo of some little girls I made for some thank you cards. They are called gingersnaps from C.C.Designs. I will be back later to show off the finished product.
