MIA.....
Hi everyone! Sorry I have been MIA these last 2 weeks. But there is a good reason. My husband is expanding my art studio. My room is a small part of the garage, and it became just that- too small. So thankfully to Bobs great handiwork, I will be expanding by almost double of what I had before.
But in the meantime, everything is a mess. All of my stuff has been shoved into one side of the room, so my creativity has been severly compromised. I cannot find anything, and if I did find it, would have not a single space to use to work on.
But I am so excited~ Its absolutely worth it, and I will be back soon- bigger and better than ever.
Hope you got a chuckle out of my mess in progress. Have a great weekend~

DAVID COOK CONCERT
For my anniversary this year, back in February, my husband bought me 2 tickets to see David Cook in concert. I have not been to a concert in a long time. And since my daughter Theresa and I are big American Idol fans, who better to take to the concert with me than her. It was her first concert, and ironically, I was the same age when I went to my first concert. Mine was Peter Frampton~ (giving away my age-haha) and I loved it and will always remember it. We went last Thursday and had a great time.
He was great!! Its nice to see performers when they are still new and down to earth~ not yet affected by their fame.
These photos are right before we left~ she insisted on holding her ticket and was extra pleased the tickets were purple, her favorite color.
After eating chinese food, we enjoyed a truly memorable night~
Thanks for stopping by.

MY FAVORITE EASTER CONFECTION
Who doesnt love chocolate? I know I do, but luckily I get to eat that all year long! But come certain holidays, and we all know which ones they are~LOL, these magical marshmallow delights start screaming my name.
I love peeps!!! Any color, bunny or chick- I love em! And by the way, isnt this an awesome new color for these little guys? I had to run right outside and take their photo! (but not without trying one first~)
But I am a purist, yes, I have tried the "flavored" ones, but its original all the way for me. I like them right out of the package, soft and sweet, but I also like them after they have gotten a bit hard. I have even eaten some that have totally dried out- they're still good to me. My sister has sent me some Peep facts that she cut out of a magazine.
Here they are:
1~ It takes 6 minutes to make one Peeps chick
2~Original Peeps have a shelf life of 2 years
3~More than 5 million Peeps are produced each day
4~Peeps have been the most popular nonchocolate Easter candy in the USA for more than a decade. Take that, jelly beans!!
So, to all my Peep loving friends- Happy Easter~~

A KNIGHT FOR MY NEPHEW
On April 1st, my nephew Matthew turned 4 years old. He also wanted a Target gift card. This is the birthday card I made for him. The inside has a space for the gift card. He also got some Hershey bars to snack on while he decides what to buy.
Happy #4 Matthew~~~
The knight stamp is a Sugar Nellie retired stamp that I have colored with my Copics. I have used my Cuttlebug "numbers" embossing folder on the orange cardstock, and then sanded it to expose the white core.
