CAN'T SUMMER STAY???
I do live in a warm climate, so I get to enjoy summer longer than some, and thats a good thing, cause I cant seem to stop making cards with these adorable Emmas from C.C. Designs~
They are of course, part of the summer collection and I just love them. They are so cute, easy to color, and have some great sentiments that were made to go with them.
I buy all of my C.C. Design stamps at ALL THAT SCRAPS online store. They ship so quickly and are a pleasure to deal with. I have colored her with Copics, and once again have made her with my huge stash of paper scraps. I have my scraps in 12 by 12 Sterlite storage containers. I use 2 of them and stack them ontop of each other. I then labeled the drawers with color categories and here is where all my scrap paper lives. Its so easy to find what you need, and with prices the way they are, I dont like throwing out perfectly good designer paper. The downside is I have usually cut off the part with the name of the paper and the manufacturer.
I did use my Stampin Up punch on the brighter yellow strip, and their scallop edge punch on the plaid strip.
Everything was stamped in Memento Black Ink. And if you look close, I have used SU Crystal Effects on her sunglasses to make the lenses look nice and shiny. It also gives them a 3-D effect of sorts. Prima Flowers, May Arts ribbon and assorted crystals finish off the card.
Many thanks for stopping by....
