How very proud we are of you each and every day.
I am very blessed to have been chosen by God to parent this very special child of mine. HAPPY BIRTHDAY THERESA~

THE BABY BOYS DESERVE EQUAL TIME!

And with that being said, here are the baby boy cards I promised you . They are made with the same set from Papertrey Ink, and the paper is once again Nanas Nursery from DCWV. This beautiful ribbon is celery twill from Stampin Up and it ties such a pretty bow, which holds its shape quite nicely. I also like SU's ribbon because you get such a good quantity on each roll, usually 15 yards. This is important when you are working on a project and have one of those little rolls from the craft store. You know what I am going to say~ it runs out right in the middle of your project. And if you are anything like me, your nearest craft store is about 40 miles away~ too long of a trip just to get ribbon. These SU ribbon rolls wont do that to you. Here are all 3 cards together~

All of the buttons are either from my yardsale finds, or from a couple of packages of Foof-A-La buttons that I have.
I love that little teddy with the button in his tummy. He reminds me of a stuffed toy from long ago.

These are cute easy cards to make. I have left the insides blank for now, but will stamp something when I am ready to use them.
I am beginning to be able to actually breathe again~yeah!!!!
Many thanks for stopping by.....

SHORT BUT SWEET...

Today my post will be short, as the snow has proved to much for this warm weather girl, and I have been sick for the last 3 days. The post will be sweet, as I think these baby girl cards are just adorable and sugar sweet~ All the stuff from the baby girl books I made a few posts back was still out on my table, so rather than put it away, I made some cards. Its always good to keep the card stash well fed.
They use Nanas Nursery paper, SU cardstock and ribbon, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, Nesties and my brand new stamp set. Its Baby Button Bits from Papertrey Ink. All I can say is its an awesome set to own. Easy to use and almost as cute as the baby thats going to get the card!!
All cards are A2 size. This one has also used Martha Stewart Chunky Glitter.

Two different baby sweet peas.
Next time I'll show you some baby boy cards with the same set. Off to take some more medicine and watch the Olympics with TT. Ice Dancing tonite should be good.
Many thanks for stopping by...

A FEW MORE UNBELIEVABLE SNOW PICS~

We are still surprised it snowed here by the beach. But it was very pretty while it lasted. By the end of the day, most of it had melted away as our ground is not too cold.
It may be a very long time before we see this at my house again.

This little guy has never seen the snow, although with all that fur~ he is well protected!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day today!!! We went to my sisters and had a great dinner with heart shaped pizza, heart shaped little cakes, and all things red and white, which is our families Valentine tradition. We all must wear red or white and eat red and/or white food. Our parents started this, and although they were not here to celebrate with us this year, as they live in NY, maybe they can be here next year.
My niece even did face painting on me and made me into a beautiful butterfly, (although my face is blue- not red or white). I may have a picture of that to show you this week.
Anyhow, this is one of the cards I made for my DH. He is my frog prince after all. LOL. All the green cardstock is Wild Wasabi from SU. I will always love that color, although my stash is running low. SU ticket corner punch was used, along with SU crystal Effects on his crown, and SU certainly Celery ribbon. The stamp is from Penny Black and I got it from Michelle at Stampers Dream. He is colored with Copics. Sentiment is computer generated. Many thanks for stopping by...

What????? Not here!

Well, I thought for sure I had seen the last of this!! After living my whole life in New York, we decided 5 1/2 years ago to leave the cold and snowy Northeast for sunny beaches.
And low and behold~ look what followed me! I live in the southern most tip of North Carolina, Myrtle Beach is my close neighbor to the immediate south. So when we would hear these VERY infrequent reports of possible snow, we laughed it off.
Last night was no laughing matter. This was what the front of my house looked like at about midnite. And the snow continued throughout the nite. We lost power during the nite, and my daughter became quite scared as she sleeps with a lamp on at all times. Not wanting to have her come into my room and have to sleep on the floor, I told her to stay in her room and we would keep the doors open. Her room is right next to ours.
Well before long thru my closed eyes I sensed flashing and blinking lights. My girl had found a weird type of flashlight near her bed and was putting it into action thru the hallway. I asked to please keep it on the low setting. She said ok. Minutes later, there was the red light from a laser pointer shining all over the place. Needless to say, we didnt get much sleep last nite. But had some laughs. And yes- it did get her into our room like she wanted~ I was out this late to take these photos as I had to let Madison, our 12 1/2 year old Lab out to do her business.
Here she is with her eyes closed as she didnt like getting the big wet snowflakes in them. She apparently forgot she lived in weather like this for more than half her life.
See my snowy dragonfly to the left?

One last shot of my bushes. Tomorrow I will show you some photos taken at 8 the this morning.
p.s. Thank you Miss Sharon~ as TT told me the laser pointer was something you had given her. LOL.
Many thanks for stopping by....

BABY GIRL CARD

Hey everybody!! This is the card I made to go with the baby books from the last post. I made only 2 of these, though. The 3rd card will be different when the time comes. Its my current favorite style of card- the 6" by 6" easel card.
I will however most likely use this same adorable little bunny for card #3. She is from a Verve Stamp set from last spring called Practically Perfect.
The whole set is just so cute for both boy or girl babies. The little boy bunny is wearing a bow tie. I used Liquid Pearls for her necklace, and SU's Crystal Effects for her bow. She is colored with my Copic Markers, and cut with nestabilities. Nanas Nursery is the paper. Celery Ribbon is from SU. I stamped her twice, cut her out and popped her up for some dimension.
These 2 sentiments are from the newer Papertrey set Inside and Out Baby.

Have to keep this post a bit short today, as my my daughter is not feeling well. She came home early yesterday with some sort of stomach virus which seems to be going around here.
Now my Husband just called from work saying he is also not feeling well. Oh, where is Spring???
