Yesterday my Husband and I celebrated our #7th wedding anniversary~ Time seems to be whizzing by and we are enjoying every minute of it. We always go to a local restaurant for dinner each year. It is housed in an old fishing cottage that is 100+ years old. The furniture is lots of mix and match antiques, and the food is always superb. The same place each time, an anniversary tradition for us- although this year we had to shift gears a bit. We got dressed up, drove there, and saw it was all dark. My husband got out of the car and read a sign on the door that said they were closed due to inclement weather.
We were really bummed for a minute~ but then decided to make lemonade and try somewhere new. It is also a restaurant in our little town, but we had never eaten there before.
All ended well as we had a wonderful dinner, good wine, and lots of laughs. Anyhow, onto my card. This was the anniversary card I made for my DH. I had seen something somewhere that used this stamp from Unity and put a chipboard "U" in it. I used that great idea and came up with this card. I am very pleased with the way it came out, and my husband really liked it.
